Nadia Khan Exposes Shocking Rise of ‘Halala Centers’ Across Pakistan!

Actress Nadia Khan has raised alarming concerns about the proliferation of “Halala centers” in numerous cities across Pakistan, including Karachi, the capital of Sindh province.

Khan revealed that these centers are being advertised online, which has added to her worries. While hosting her TV show “Kya Drama Hai,” she praised the drama “Mann Jogi” for its authentic portrayal of Halala—a practice in Islam that permits a divorced woman to remarry her former husband after undergoing a legitimate marriage with another man, which is then followed by divorce.

However, she expressed skepticism about the motives behind these centers. “Halala is a significant issue, and these centers are popping up all over the country,” she stated.

During the show, Khan read out an advertisement for a Halala center that she discovered on social media, highlighting her unease regarding the commercialization of such a sensitive religious practice. She noted that some centers claim to manage everything related to marriage and divorce with utmost care and confidentiality, even encouraging women seeking Halala to contact them.

“In Karachi alone, I’ve come across more than ten ads for Halala centers online, complete with addresses and phone numbers,” she revealed, adding that these establishments are operational in several cities and provide official contact details.

Khan expressed astonishment that this delicate issue is being openly discussed and questioned the accountability of those running such centers. “How can these individuals justify their actions by establishing and promoting Halala centers?” she pondered.
