Actor Aagha Ali has confirmed his divorce from Hina Altaf, bringing an end to two years of speculation. He shared the news during a podcast conversation with Ahmed Ali Butt, a clip of which has gone viral on social media.
In the now widely circulated video, Butt referred to Ali as a “happily divorced man,” prompting Ali to scoff and laugh, responding, “You just knocked someone down from a height.” He acknowledged that the decision to part ways was challenging but expressed relief that there were no children involved, which would have added complexity to the situation.
Reflecting further on the divorce, Ali discussed the difficulties of growing up without parental support after losing his father at the age of five. He shared that this experience shaped his views on marriage and relationships. “Any relationship that begins with mutual consent deserves effort and prayer,” he remarked, suggesting that sometimes, despite one’s best efforts, separation is the healthiest option.
Despite his split from Altaf, Ali stressed the importance of mutual respect, noting that many couples struggle to maintain respect for one another post-breakup.
Ali and Altaf got married in May 2020, but by 2022, rumors of their separation began to circulate, which Ali had previously denied.
In August, television host Madihah Naqvi mentioned their divorce on-air but later apologized, explaining that she had misspoken. This incident sparked discussions about the significance of respect and healthy boundaries after divorce, especially in the public eye.
