University of Sargodha to host 2-day International Conference on Applied Zoology

The University of Sargodha (UOS) is set to host the 7th International Conference on Applied Zoology from October 22. Prof. Dr. Azhar Rasool, the organizing secretary, told APP that the two-day event is being organized by the Applied Zoological Society of Pakistan and will kick off at UOS on October 22.

Scientists, researchers, scholars, and students from Pakistan and various countries, including Turkey, the UK, Malaysia, China, Indonesia, and Japan, are expected to participate. Over 1,500 individuals have registered so far, with 300 research papers set to be presented.

The conference will be chaired by the Chairman of the Zoological Society and Vice-Chancellor of Punjab University, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ali (Satara Imtiaz, Tamgha Imtiaz), alongside UOS Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Qaiser Abbas. Organizers are hopeful that this year’s event will maintain the high standards of previous editions.
