Pakistani actress Veena Malik, known for her roles in several Bollywood films after her stint on Bigg Boss, revealed that she left the Indian film industry of her own accord and still receives numerous offers from across the border.
In a recent podcast interview, Veena discussed how, despite receiving threats from Shiv Sena during her Bollywood career, these threats were not the reason for her departure; she left voluntarily.
“I chose to stop working in India,” she stated. “I don’t mean to boast, but I’m not someone who can be forced into doing something against my will. When I decided to leave Bollywood, it was entirely my choice, and I still stand by that decision.”
The Bigg Boss alum further shared, “Even now, my inbox is overflowing with film offers from Bollywood. When I left, my team was literally pleading with me to return because there were so many promising projects.”
“Yet, I’m proud that I stayed true to my choice and didn’t succumb to the pressure, despite the fantastic opportunities,” Malik concluded.
It’s noteworthy that Veena Malik participated in the Salman Khan-hosted reality show Bigg Boss in 2010, after which she acted in various films across India.
