Rana Sanaullah calls Trump a liar and draws a comparison with the PTI founder.

ISLAMABAD: Rana Sanaullah, the Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Political Affairs, drew parallels between U.S. President-elect Donald Trump and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan, highlighting what he described as “similarities” in their political approaches.

Speaking on ARY News’ program Khabar Muhammad Malick Ke Saath, Sanaullah stated that both Imran Khan and Donald Trump are “known for spreading falsehoods, mocking others, and challenging institutions.”

“There are many similarities between them, like lying, mocking others, and using unlawful tactics to push their agendas. Trump even rallied his supporters to attack the White House,” Sanaullah remarked.

When asked about Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz congratulating the U.S. president-elect, he noted it was merely a diplomatic formality.

Responding to a question about whether the federal government would release Imran Khan at the request of the U.S., Sanaullah said he doubted the U.S. would make such a request. However, he added, “In my opinion, Imran Khan could be handed over to the U.S. if Trump desires it, allowing these ‘brothers’ to work together. Perhaps the U.S. could exchange Imran Khan for Aafia Siddiqui’s release—a proposal the nation might support.”
