At the Accelerate event, Amazon Ads introduced a new generative AI-powered feature aimed at simplifying video ad creation for advertisers. The “Video Generator” tool allows advertisers to create visually engaging video content in just minutes and at no extra cost. By using a single product image, the tool generates custom AI-powered videos that highlight a product’s unique selling points, leveraging Amazon’s insights to craft compelling product stories.
Amazon’s growing suite of generative AI tools, including the new Video Generator, enables advertisers to create more dynamic and engaging content. These tools help brands quickly produce lifestyle images and videos that enhance the customer discovery experience, making ads more relevant and appealing.
In addition to the Video Generator, Amazon Ads also introduced a new “Live Image” feature, allowing brands to create short, animated campaign images with ease. Live Image is part of the broader Image Generator tool, designed to break down creative barriers and empower brands to create high-quality, visually captivating ads.
The development of the Video Generator was driven by feedback from advertisers and industry data. A recent Wyzowl study found that 89% of consumers want to see more videos from brands in 2024, but time and cost are often barriers to video marketing.

Currently, both Video Generator and Live Image are in beta for select U.S. advertisers. Amazon Ads plans to refine these features based on feedback before a broader release, ensuring a seamless, high-quality experience for all users.
