Jennifer Lopez opens up about personal challenges following her divorce from Ben Affleck.

Latin pop star and actress Jennifer Lopez has opened up about her personal struggles amid her ongoing divorce from Hollywood actor and filmmaker Ben Affleck.

Speaking at the screening of her upcoming film Unstoppable, Lopez discussed her experience navigating “challenging relationships.” She emphasized how relatable her journey is for women who face similar challenges while balancing motherhood.

“I think a lot of women have gone through that, and she [Judy] and I talked a lot,” Lopez shared.

In Unstoppable, Lopez portrays Judy Robles, the mother of NCAA wrestling champion Anthony Robles. Lopez also reflected on her own experience as a mother to twins Max and Emme, whom she shares with ex-husband Marc Anthony.

“When you talk to Judy’s kids, including Anthony, they say, ‘My mom’s so positive, she’s so great.’ But there was a whole different story she was living that she hid from her children to protect them,” she explained.

Unstoppable, set to release on December 6, is produced by Ben Affleck’s production company, despite the couple’s separation.

In a recent interview, Ben Affleck spoke about the film’s cast, praising their passion for the project. He also praised Jennifer Lopez’s performance, calling her “spectacular” and noting that she gave her best in the role.

Lopez and Affleck, who had rekindled their romance after many years, officially separated in August 2024. Lopez filed for divorce after two years of marriage, marking the end of their high-profile relationship, commonly known as “Bennifer.”
