LONDON: In a significant development regarding the attack on the vehicle of former Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP), Justice (retired) Qazi Faez Isa, London police visited Pakistan’s High Commission to gather information.
According to reports, the British Diplomatic Police met with Pakistan High Commission (PHC) staff, who briefed them on the alleged attack. The briefing confirmed that former CJP Qazi Faez Isa was in the vehicle at the time of the incident.
The British Diplomatic Police assured the Pakistan High Commission of a thorough investigation and agreed to proceed with the inquiry using video footage.

The incident involved PTI activists attempting to block Qazi Faez Isa’s vehicle, which is registered to the Pakistan High Commission, even attempting to smash its windows. They chanted slogans upon spotting his car and ran alongside it.
Earlier, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi strongly condemned the attack and directed the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) to take immediate action to identify the attackers.
It’s important to note that the Pakistan High Commission in London has filed a formal complaint regarding the attack, though no specific individuals were named.
