Salman Khan’s remark about Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai’s marriage goes viral amid divorce speculation

Amid ongoing divorce rumours surrounding Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai, a heartfelt yet respectful comment from Salman Khan about their marriage has gone viral.

In a throwback interview on Rajat Sharma’s show Aap Ki Adalat, the Tiger 3 actor shared his thoughts on Aishwarya’s marriage to Abhishek, saying, “I’m very happy that she’s married to Abhishek Bachchan. I think he’s a great guy.”

He further added, “As an ex-boyfriend, you don’t want the person you were with to be miserable after your relationship ends. You want them to be genuinely happy without you. So, there’s a selfish reason too—no guilt on your conscience. But that’s the best way to look at it. That’s how I feel.”

Salman and Aishwarya were once one of Bollywood’s most talked-about couples until their split in 2002. Aishwarya later cited physical, verbal, and emotional abuse as reasons for the breakup.

Addressing these allegations, Salman remarked, “Your personal life is personal… if I try to defend myself, it’ll seem like I’m lying… It’s best to stay silent and let time pass.

Aishwarya went on to date Vivek Oberoi after her breakup with Salman, marrying Abhishek Bachchan in 2007, and they have a 13-year-old daughter, Aaradhya. Meanwhile, Salman remains one of Bollywood’s most eligible bachelors.
