The district administration, along with the Punjab Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), targeted facilities involved in burning animal fats, registering cases against the owners of these establishments.
The Lahore deputy commissioner urged citizens to cooperate in tackling the toxic smog, emphasizing collective action to address the environmental threat.
In addition, the administration vowed to continue its crackdown on SOP violations to mitigate the impact of smog.
