PESHAWAR: Bushra Bibi, wife of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan, has reportedly urged party officials to strategize against arrests during the November 24 protest, according to ARY News.
In a leaked audio recording allegedly from CM House, Bushra Bibi is heard advising PTI members to devise plans to avoid arrests, ensure loyalty to Imran Khan, and counter potential internet blockades.
“November 24 will serve as a loyalty test for PTI members,” she stated in the purported audio. She also directed officials to share videos with local and international media to combat the internet blackout, warning that those without video evidence may lose their eligibility for future party tickets.
While addressing the Insaf Student Federation (ISF) and Youth Wing leaders, Bushra Bibi emphasized mobilizing the youth for the planned protest. Sources revealed she conveyed a message from Imran Khan, expressing high hopes for the younger generation’s participation.
Additionally, Bushra Bibi met with various party officials, including Gul Zafar from the Bajaur agency, commending his dedication to the PTI on behalf of Imran Khan.
It’s worth mentioning that Imran Khan, currently incarcerated, announced November 24 as the final date for the protest in Islamabad. His sister, Aleema Khan, shared this update with the media, alleging that the PTI’s mandate was stolen on February 9, leading to selected individuals gaining power and depriving citizens of their rights after the 26th Amendment.
Separately, KP Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur vowed on November 9 not to return home until Imran Khan is released.
