Police report that a man from Jacobabad was burned alive by his in-laws.

JACOBABAD: In a tragic incident, a young man died after being burned alive by his in-laws, as reported by police and ARY News.

The victim had gone to his wife’s home in Jacobabad, Sindh, in an attempt to reconcile, but a dispute escalated, leading to his brutal death. His in-laws allegedly attacked him and set him on fire, leaving him severely injured. He was rushed to the hospital, but despite efforts to save him, he succumbed to his injuries.

Before his death, the man recorded a statement to the police, naming his father-in-law as the attacker. Authorities swiftly responded, arresting the suspects and launching a murder investigation to uncover the full details of the incident.

This incident comes amid rising concerns over domestic violence, particularly following a recent case in Daska that has sparked nationwide outrage. In that case, Zahra Qadeer, a pregnant mother, was allegedly murdered by her in-laws, with her body dismembered and discarded in sewerage drains.
