A private school in Karachi has introduced Pakistan’s first female AI-powered teacher, a major milestone in the country’s educational development.
The AI teacher, named Ainee, was launched at a school in Karachi’s Gulshan-e-Iqbal area. Designed to assist with subjects like mathematics, science, and languages for Class 5 students, Ainee can respond to student queries, track their progress, and adjust lessons according to individual learning paces.
This innovative use of artificial intelligence aims to provide personalized learning experiences, enhancing the educational journey for students.
In a related development, in October, the Heart Line Chatbot, an AI-powered tool, was launched to assist the 32.5 million people suffering from hypertension in Pakistan. Introduced at the 27th Annual Conference of the Pakistan Hypertension League, the chatbot provides digital guidance for patients, helping them navigate treatment options. This initiative is part of the Discovering Hypertension project, addressing the fact that only 11% of hypertensive patients in Pakistan have their condition under control.
