The Pakistan Airport Authority (PAA) has responded to reports of significant delays, with international passengers at Islamabad International Airport (IIA) reportedly facing waits of up to 72 hours. A spokesperson for the PAA reassured the public that airport operations are proceeding as usual.
“The operations at all airports, including Islamabad, remain unaffected and are continuing without disruption,” the spokesperson confirmed.
Additionally, the spokesperson emphasized that there would be no interruptions to services at any of Pakistan’s airports.
