In a recent podcast interview, Reham Khan, who helped launch Hania Aamir’s film career with Janaan under ARY Films, where the young actress made her debut, clarified her earlier advice to the actor. She had suggested that Aamir focus on her career rather than prioritizing marriage and relationships at this stage.
Sticking to her previous advice, Khan explained, “I believe that one should marry when they feel, ‘I’ve reached a point in life, and I need a companion now.’”
She added, “While girls may feel the pressure of their biological clock ticking in their 20s or 30s, and often believe marriage will bring them freedom from family restrictions, that’s not always the case.”
Khan emphasized, “One should never marry simply to meet societal expectations or for the sake of it, but when they find the right person.” She stressed, “Marriage should be a choice, not a necessity.”
Khan also shared that she gives the same advice to her own daughters, stating, “I’m not against marriage, but I believe it’s not for everyone.”
