According to reports, eight cases have been registered against PTI founder Imran Khan, former First Lady Bushra Bibi, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur, and other key figures.
The cases also name prominent individuals such as Salman Akram Raja, Sheikh Waqas Akram, local leaders, and thousands of unidentified persons.
The charges were lodged at multiple police stations, including Shahzad Town, Sihala, Bani Gala, Khanna, Shams Colony, Tarnol, Noon, and Nilore.
The allegations span various offences, including terrorism, violation of the Assembly Act, attacks on law enforcement, abduction, obstruction of government duties, and breaches of Section 144.
PTI began its march towards Islamabad on November 24 after a final call from its founder. Despite government efforts to block their path with roadblocks, protesters managed to break through and reach the Blue Area.
Law enforcement launched a major operation last night to disperse the demonstrators. Police and Rangers successfully cleared the Blue Area, and by the end of the operation, the protesters started returning home.
