Under the chairmanship of Barrister Gohar, the PTI Core Committee raised concerns over the decision to divert protesters to D-Chowk instead of the originally planned location, Sangjani. The committee demanded accountability, questioning who instigated the clash and why Imran Khan’s directive for peaceful negotiations was disregarded.
“Who hindered the negotiations approved by the PTI founder and redirected the protest to D-Chowk without stepping forward themselves?” the committee asked, emphasizing the need to identify those responsible for escalating tensions.

Committee members criticized the central leadership for their absence during the D-Chowk protest, citing a lack of coordination and transparency in decision-making. Some expressed frustration over not being consulted on critical matters and called for greater inclusion of party leaders in future decisions.
The committee recommended compiling concrete evidence on alleged worker deaths and urged avoiding unverified claims. Additionally, they stressed the importance of internal self-accountability alongside efforts to hold the government accountable for actions against PTI workers.
A suggestion was made to draft a white paper detailing the failures of those who abandoned party workers during the protest. Senior leadership acknowledged the need for improved coordination and assured the committee of its involvement in future decision-making processes.
