Fans left heartbroken over Moosa’s demise in ‘Bismil’

The Pakistani drama serial Bismil continues to captivate audiences with its gripping storyline and outstanding performances from the talented cast, including the versatile Savera Nadeem and Nauman Ijaz.

In the latest episode (episode 30), actor Saad Qureshi, who portrays Moosa—the only son of Reham (Savera Nadeem) and Tauqeer (Nauman Ijaz)—tragically took his own life. Moosa’s suicide was prompted by a confrontation with his father and heartbreak over the cancellation of his marriage.

Moosa’s despair deepened when his father, Tauqeer, refused to attend his wedding, and the parents of his fiancée, Momal, decided against the marriage. Overcome with sorrow, Moosa shot himself in his room, leaving viewers devastated. The sudden and tragic loss of Moosa has left Bismil fans in tears, with many feeling the drama could have opted for a suicide attempt instead of a fatal outcome.

Many fans hold Tauqeer responsible for Moosa’s death, pointing to the father’s emotional distance despite Moosa’s attempts to connect. The rejection by Moomal added to his sense of hopelessness, ultimately leading to his tragic end.

Viewers also expressed concern over the emotional and mental toll that parents’ decisions—especially those of older men who marry later in life—can have on their children. Some fans are also blaming Moomal’s parents and Masooma for exacerbating Moosa’s situation.

The emotional depth of Reham’s scenes, beautifully portrayed by Savera Nadeem, moved many fans to tears. Saad Qureshi, Savera Nadeem, and Nauman Ijaz received widespread praise for their powerful performances in these heart-wrenching moments.
