School Principal Detained Over Alleged Abuse of Teachers and Students

SHEIKHUPURA: A school principal has been arrested in the Mirza Virkan area of Sheikhupura for allegedly sexually abusing multiple teachers and students, Ary News reported.

The case surfaced after explicit videos of the victims circulated on social media and WhatsApp groups. Acting on complaints, the B-Division police conducted a raid and apprehended the accused, identified as Arsalan, the principal of Noor-ul-Huda School.

Police recovered at least 150 obscene videos from Arsalan’s possession. According to the authorities, the accused used these recordings to blackmail the victims, threatening to release the videos publicly.

During interrogation, Arsalan confessed to sexually assaulting the victims and admitted to recording the crimes using CCTV and hidden cameras. Police revealed that the videos were sold online to foreign buyers.

The Chief Education Officer has since sealed the school, and a detailed investigation is underway.

In a separate case in Punjab, a reported rape incident at a private college was found to be fabricated. The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) booked 20 suspects, including journalists and social media activists, for spreading false information and tarnishing the reputation of a Lahore-based college.

According to the FIR, the allegations were baseless, and no evidence supported the claims. CCTV footage and investigations confirmed that the incident did not occur, and the false campaign caused unnecessary unrest among students.
