Chunky Pandey Reveals He Was Paid to Cry at a Funeral

Bollywood actor Chunky Pandey recently revealed an unexpected story during his appearance on The Great Indian Kapil Show, where he shared some personal anecdotes from his career, including a time when he was paid to attend a funeral and cry.

Pandey recalled his early career days when he participated in various events to earn extra income. One day, he received a call from an organizer asking about his availability, offering a good sum of money but without disclosing the event details, just requesting that he wear white clothes.

When Pandey arrived at the location, he was shocked to discover it was a funeral, with the grieving family standing at the entrance. He humorously recalled thinking the organizer had passed away by the time he arrived, only to spot him in the corner, assuring him of his payment—and offering extra money if he cried during the funeral.

The story brought laughter from the audience, and smiles spread across the show.

On the work front, Pandey was last seen in the pan-Indian film Liger (2022), starring his daughter Ananya Panday, Vijay Deverakonda, and the Tamil-language spy thriller Sardar.
