Aleema Khan claims that the founder of PTI has “one final card” to play.

Speaking to the media outside Adiala Jail, Aleema Khan revealed that Imran Khan hinted at having “one final card” but chose not to disclose any further details.

Responding to rumors about the former prime minister’s health, Aleema dismissed them as unfounded, sharing that Imran Khan laughed off the false reports and reassured everyone of his good health, maintaining his fitness through regular exercise.

Aleema also praised Bushra Bibi’s leadership during the November 24 protests, emphasizing that she took charge while other leaders should have joined her on the container.

She also shared information about Imran Khan’s treatment in custody, revealing that he was kept in isolation for 40-50 hours without access to newspapers or state television, leaving him unaware of external events.

Earlier, PTI Secretary General Salman Akram Raja clarified that the party’s founder had not been moved from Adiala Jail to any other location, but there were speculations that Imran Khan might be transferred to another cell.

Raja further explained that a curfew-like situation prevailed across Punjab during the PTI protests on November 24. While some people managed to reach Islamabad despite the restrictions, thousands were unable to.

He also addressed the challenges faced by PTI leaders in Punjab, stating, “It cannot be said that the leaders in Punjab are not supporting the party.”

Regarding his resignation from the party, Raja stated, “I have withdrawn my resignation and will address this matter later.” He had previously resigned from his position as PTI Secretary General amid growing criticism of the party leadership after the Islamabad protest. PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan confirmed receiving Raja’s resignation. PTI leadership is under intense scrutiny following the retreat of party workers from D-Chowk in Islamabad.
