Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif met with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman on Tuesday during the sidelines of the Water Summit.
The leaders reaffirmed their commitment to a significant transformation in Pakistan-Saudi Arabia ties, focusing on enhancing economic, trade, and investment partnerships, according to a statement from the PM Office.
Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman emphasized the need for robust collaboration between the two nations to drive Pakistan’s economic growth and prosperity.
Both leaders expressed satisfaction with the progress made on Saudi investment agreements and Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with Pakistan.

PM Shehbaz extended gratitude to the Crown Prince for his support for Pakistan and invited him to visit at the earliest convenience.
Earlier, in October, Pakistan and Saudi Arabia signed 27 MoUs valued at $2.2 billion, covering diverse sectors such as energy, agriculture, mining, human resources, and cyber security.
Key agreements included a $70 million investment in agriculture, plans for advanced semiconductor chip manufacturing in Saudi Arabia, the development of a textile industry, and a white oil pipeline project.
