New York: Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the Indian community in the United States today, drawing tens of thousands of Indian-Americans to the ‘Modi & US’ event at Nassau Coliseum in Long Island. During his speech, he covered a variety of topics and highlighted India’s rapid progress.
He commended the Indian diaspora in the US, referring to them as “brand ambassadors” of India, emphasizing their role in strengthening the India-US partnership and serving as a bridge between the two great democracies.
PM Modi also expressed gratitude to President Joe Biden for his hospitality in Delaware, where they held bilateral talks yesterday. The Prime Minister had attended the annual Quad Summit in Biden’s home state as well.
Following the large diaspora event, PM Modi participated in a roundtable meeting with top CEOs in New York, engaging with leaders from prominent US companies.
Tomorrow, he will attend the United Nations General Assembly in New York and speak at the ‘Summit of the Future’ organized by the UN.
