FIA apprehends three suspects in Sindh over MDCAT paper leak case

The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Cyber Crime Circle has arrested three individuals for their involvement in leaking MDCAT exam papers across Karachi and Sindh.

The suspects were allegedly distributing leaked exam papers to students in exchange for money.

Identified as Shiraz Bilal, Tariq Aziz Samo, and Shan Durrani, the accused are believed to be key members of a group responsible for leaking MDCAT papers in 2023 and 2024.

During the investigation, FIA recovered incriminating evidence, including screenshots from the suspects’ mobile phones showing leaked papers shared with candidates.

Further inquiries uncovered the suspects’ links to a broader network involved in exam fraud.

A case has been registered against 15 individuals, including university officials and test organizers, who are accused of being part of the scandal.

FIA continues its operations to apprehend other members of the group and dismantle the network.
