The Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO), a government-owned power distribution firm, serves domestic and commercial consumers in its designated areas.
To apply for a new electricity connection within LESCO’s jurisdiction, consumers must complete an online application process.
Meter Installation Fees
The estimated fee for a new single-phase meter connection is Rs7,240. However, in some areas of Lahore, the charges range from Rs18,000 to Rs25,000 during the winter season. Consumers are advised to confirm the exact fee with the relevant office, as charges may vary by district and are expected to rise in the summer due to increased electricity demand.
Steps to Apply for a LESCO New Connection
- Visit the Official Application Portal
Go to LESCO’s online portal. - Fill Out the Application Form
Enter details such as National Tax Number (NTC), connection type, CNIC number, minimum load, and the premises address. - Provide Property Information
Include details of the property where the connection will be installed. - Upload Required Documents
Complete the form by uploading all necessary documents and printing the submitted application. - Attach Additional Documents
Attach the required documents to the printed application form. - Submit the Application
Submit the complete file, including the form and documents, to the relevant LESCO office. - Demand Notice Issuance
LESCO will issue a demand notice after verifying your information and documents. - Pay the Fee
Pay the amount mentioned in the demand notice at the designated bank and submit a copy of the payment receipt to the concerned office. - Connection Installation
After payment verification, LESCO will proceed with the installation of the new electricity connection.
