Actor Feroze Khan is ready to take his passion for boxing from the screen to the ring. After portraying a boxer in the drama Akhara earlier this year, Khan is now preparing for his real-life boxing debut.
He shared the exciting news with his fans on Instagram Story on Wednesday, revealing his new career move. “I’m into a new game plan, and it’s going to be a boxing career,” Khan said. “I hope it inspires people to focus on training, getting fit, and opens doors for athletes waiting for their chance. I’m excited for this boxing match. I’m just as eager as the opponent who called me out.”
Khan confirmed that the match is set for February and promised to share more updates as the event draws closer. “I’ve signed the contract. More updates coming soon,” he added with enthusiasm.
The actor also revealed his opponent: Rahim Pardesi, a UAE-based content creator and comedian who challenged Khan to the match. Khan responded directly to Pardesi, saying, “Hi Rahim, this is Feroze Khan. I saw your call-out video, and let me tell you, everyone in the ring knows what I’m like.” He jokingly added, “It’s cute that you’re trying to play tough, but trust me, I’m quick. You’ll need to work on your skills before facing me.”
While some fans are excited for the showdown, others are intrigued by Khan’s transition from acting to boxing. Back in 2021, the Khuda Aur Mohabbat actor had shared his desire to pursue boxing professionally. “When I told my friends I wanted to act, they laughed, saying many people dream of it but don’t make it big. I got the same response when I told them I wanted to become a boxer, which is exactly why I know it’s a win,” he said at the time.
