Pakistani showbiz icon Hania Aamir shared her unforgettable experience at Diljit Dosanjh’s Dil-Luminati concert tour in London, where the Punjabi music sensation invited her to join him on stage.
In a recent interview with an Indian YouTube channel, Hania reflected on the magical moment from the London concert she attended in October. She was with friends who are big fans of Diljit and had hoped to get close to the stage. “A crazy moment happened. He was singing ‘Ikk Kudi,’ and I was tired, so I sat down,” she recalled. “Looking up, I saw the huge crowd singing along, and being in the same profession, I just felt so proud thinking, ‘Wow, what a great show you’ve put up. Kudos!’”
The ‘Kabhi Main Kabhi Tum’ actress continued, “After the song ended, he started singing ‘Lover,’ and I got up to return to my spot. My friends and I were cheering like everyone else. Then, he stood there with his hands on his waist. I thought he’d call a fan like he usually does.”
“But then, the camera started moving toward us, and he pointed at me. I was like, ‘Me? Why? I haven’t done anything,’” Aamir laughed. “It was such a beautiful moment, and by the time I realized it, he was talking to me.”
Reflecting on the moment that made headlines, she said, “I felt this wave of positivity, and I truly believe this is what art should do.”
On the professional front, Hania Aamir received global recognition for her role as Sharjeena in Pakistan’s biggest serial, ‘Kabhi Main Kabhi Tum,’ alongside Fahad Mustafa.
