SUKKUR (Dunya News) – Three Dead, Four Injured as Police Van Crashes During Pursuit
In a tragic incident on Saturday night, three individuals, including two policemen and a passerby, lost their lives, while four others sustained injuries when a police van collided with a tree in Sukkur during a high-speed chase of a suspected vehicle, Dunya News reported.
The deceased policemen were identified as Ashfaq Sheikh and Masood Shahani, while the passerby was named Amir Sheikh.
According to reports, the police van was pursuing a suspicious car when it veered off course and crashed into a roadside tree.
The collision resulted in the immediate deaths of a passerby and one policeman on the spot, while the second officer succumbed to his injuries in the hospital.
The four injured policemen were rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment. A large contingent of police arrived at the scene to initiate an investigation into the incident.
