Controversial Bollywood figure Rakhi Sawant has welcomed 2025 with a spiritual journey, performing Umrah for the second time in Makkah and Madinah.
Although Rakhi hasn’t posted any updates on her Instagram, fans have shared videos of her pilgrimage.
In one video, Rakhi, dressed in an abaya, expresses her joy at beginning the year with Umrah, stating, “While the world celebrates the New Year, we are here on a pilgrimage. I believe 2025 will be amazing because I started it with Umrah.”
Another video captures her praying for friends and those in need, describing the experience as peaceful and uplifting.
Rakhi had previously performed her first Umrah in August 2023, accompanied by her Rakhi brother Waahiid Ali Khan and his wife Shaista Ali Khan. This time, however, she appears to have undertaken the pilgrimage solo.
Having converted to Islam in 2022 after her Nikah with Adil Khan Durrani, Rakhi’s marriage ended in 2023 following serious allegations against Adil, who was jailed for six months before being granted bail.
Rakhi’s latest Umrah journey has once again made headlines, attracting both praise and criticism from social media users.
