Tahseen Wajahat Chishti, known for his role as Jalal in Meem Se Mohabbat, is an emerging Pakistani actor, model, and digital influencer. He gained recognition for his portrayal of Hilal Pasha in Fairy Tale and has appeared in several TV commercials. A graduate of NCA, Tehseen has been involved in theater for many years and has starred in notable dramas like Fairy Tale and Very Filmy.
Recently, he appeared on Fuchsia Magazine’s YouTube show, hosted by Rabia Mughni, where he shared details about his background. Tehseen revealed that his grandfather, Muhammad Aalam Christi, was a famous Naat Khawan and one of the first to perform on PTV. Growing up in a musical environment, he met legends like Farida Khanam and Ustad Salamat Ali Khan, though at the time he didn’t fully realize their prominence.
Tehseen’s acting career started with a sitcom called College Jeans on PTV, where he worked alongside Ali Zafar and Ayesha Omar. While not initially a lead actor, he eventually became one of the main characters. His acting journey included stints on various platforms like Geo and APlus, but he temporarily left acting due to payment issues. Now, he’s made a return with his role in Fairy Tale.
