Defence Minister Khawaja Asif has urged a nationwide inquiry into the assets of business tycoon Malik Riaz, questioning the transfer of state funds into his account.
He emphasized that no one, regardless of their financial status, should be above the law or challenge the state.
Asif accused Malik Riaz of unlawfully seizing land from the poor and alleged that Riaz had confessed to bribing several individuals.
He stressed the importance of conducting a thorough investigation into Riaz’s financial activities on a national scale.
