Ali Amin Gandapur removed as President of PTI KP.

ISLAMABAD – Ali Amin Gandapur has been relieved of his position as the President of PTI in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, with Junaid Akbar now taking over the role.

The decision was made by PTI’s founder during a meeting with party leaders and his legal team in Adiala Jail, according to PTI Secretary General Salman Akram Raja.

Leaders including Junaid Akbar, Malik Ahmed Bhuchar, Atif Khan, Faisal Chaudhry, Aalya Hamza, Hafiz Farhat Abbas, Shah Farman, Ali Ijaz Buttar, and Naeem Panjotha visited the PTI founder in jail on the same day.

Salman Akram Raja mentioned that the official notification regarding Junaid Akbar’s appointment as the new provincial president of KP will be issued shortly.

He also stated that Gandapur had been effectively managing his party responsibilities, but upon his own request, PTI’s founder relieved him from the position.

The PTI founder has also requested a meeting with the party’s negotiating committee before January 28, with discussions regarding the negotiations to follow.

Raja added that the PTI will continue to demand the formation of a judicial commission and will also raise the issue of enforced disappearances in Balochistan.

As part of efforts to reorganize the party in Punjab, Raja revealed that Aalya Hamza will be given a key role in the region.
