OKARA – An alleged robber was shot dead in a police ‘encounter’ on Wednesday, as reported by Dunya News.
Police received information about two suspected robbers in the Sadar police jurisdiction. Upon arriving at the scene, the suspects opened fire at the police, prompting the officers to return fire, ultimately silencing the attackers.
After a search of the area, authorities discovered the body of one of the robbers, later identified as Shahzad. His accomplice managed to flee under the cover of darkness. A manhunt has been initiated for the escaped suspect.
Police stated that the deceased robber was wanted for a shooting incident in which a policeman was injured, along with 17 other serious criminal cases.
TIKTOKERS INJURED IN GUJRANWALA FIRING
Two TikTokers, Abdul Qayaum and Adnan, were injured in a firing incident in Gujranwala. The shooting stemmed from a dispute over TikTok videos with the accused, Anas and Karamat. Police have launched an investigation and filed a case against the fleeing suspects.
