LISBON – Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb has emphasized the need for strengthening sustainable Pakistan-UK relations.
During a meeting with UK Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for the Middle East, Pakistan, and Afghanistan, Hamish Faulkner, in Lisbon, the two officials discussed key areas of mutual interest, including investment opportunities in Pakistan’s energy, minerals, and infrastructure sectors.
Aurangzeb highlighted the longstanding, cordial ties between Pakistan and the United Kingdom, built on mutual trust and cooperation.
The discussion also acknowledged the significant role of the Pakistani diaspora in enhancing bilateral relations through strong people-to-people connections.
