Aleema Khan, Uzma Khan Cleared of Charges in Jinnah House Attack Case

LAHORE: Aleema Khan and Uzma Khan, sisters of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder and former Prime Minister Imran Khan, have been declared innocent in the Jinnah House attack case, as per police investigation.

During a hearing at the Anti-Terrorism Court in Lahore, the local police confirmed that both sisters were found innocent in the case. The development came as Aleema Khan and Uzma Khan had filed bail applications related to the May 9 incidents. However, the court dismissed their interim bail plea following its withdrawal.

The investigation officer informed the court that the inquiry against Aleema Khan and Uzma Khan had been completed, and both were cleared of any involvement.

Aleema Khan further revealed that she was informed she was not wanted in the May 9 cases. She lamented that if the investigating officer had appeared earlier, they would not have had to endure such a long ordeal.
