KARACHI – Police have arrested two suspected robbers involved in the murder of a shopkeeper during a robbery in the Sachal area, Dunya News reported on Sunday.
Upon receiving information about the suspects’ whereabouts, police arrived at the scene, prompting the robbers to open fire. In retaliation, police returned fire, injuring one of the suspects, who was then arrested along with his accomplice.
During interrogation, it was revealed that the duo had killed a shopkeeper during a burglary. Authorities recovered weapons and stolen valuables from them. Further investigations are ongoing.
Two Prisoners Escape from Sub-Jail
Meanwhile, two detainees escaped from a sub-jail in Moro by breaking through its roof. Identified as Saleem and Imran, the accused were on a ten-day judicial remand for theft and liquor-related cases. Police have launched a search operation to locate them.
