The Excise and Taxation (E&T) Department of Islamabad has announced extended operating hours for token tax submissions to facilitate vehicle owners in the capital.
According to Director Excise and Taxation, Bilal Azam, the department’s counters will now remain open until 8:00 PM, ensuring residents have ample time to fulfill their tax obligations.
This initiative aims to make the process more convenient and accessible for citizens. Vehicle owners with pending taxes are urged to take advantage of the extended hours to avoid penalties or legal consequences. Bilal Azam emphasized the importance of timely tax payments to prevent the cancellation of vehicle registrations.
He also reiterated the department’s commitment to delivering transparent and user-friendly services, particularly in areas such as vehicle registration and token tax collection.
