Gold price falls by Rs 1,000 per tola in Pakistan

KARACHI: The price of 24-karat gold per tola dropped by Rs. 1,000 on Tuesday, settling at Rs. 274,700, down from the previous day’s Rs. 275,700, as reported by the All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association.

Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold fell by Rs. 857, now priced at Rs. 235,511 compared to Rs. 236,368. The price of 10 grams of 22-karat gold also dipped, now at Rs. 215,885 from Rs. 216,671.

Silver prices remained unchanged, with per tola silver at Rs. 3,050 and 10 grams at Rs. 2,614.88.

In the international market, gold prices saw a $9 decrease, settling at $2,647, down from $2,656.

Just a day earlier, on October 7, 2024, gold prices had increased by Rs. 200 per tola, reaching Rs. 275,700, while 10-gram gold rose by Rs. 171 to Rs. 236,368, following an upward trend in the international market.
