In the local market, the price of 24-karat gold per tola surged by Rs2,200, reaching Rs282,700, according to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold rose by Rs1,857, bringing it to Rs242,370.
In the international market, gold prices also saw a significant increase of $22 on Saturday, reaching $2,715 per ounce, with an additional premium of $20.
Additionally, silver prices in the local market climbed by Rs200, reaching Rs3,450 per tola.
