Gold prices in Pakistan continued their record-breaking trend on Wednesday, as reported by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
The price of gold per tola surged by Rs2,500, reaching a new all-time high of Rs275,500. In addition, 10 grams of gold was priced at Rs236,197 after an increase of Rs2,144.
Following a decline of Rs600 per tola, gold prices rebounded on Tuesday, rising by Rs1,100 to set a record at Rs273,000 per tola.
In the international market, spot gold remained steady at $2,658.08 per ounce, while US gold futures increased by 0.2 percent to $2,682.10.
According to APGJSA, the international gold rate was established at $2,653 per ounce, with a premium of $20, reflecting a daily increase of $25.
