Government raises petrol price by Rs3.72

The government has announced updated petroleum product prices for the upcoming fortnight, as reported by 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.

According to the Finance Division, the price of petrol has increased by Rs 3.72 per litre.

Effective from December 1, the new petrol price will be Rs 252.10 per litre for the next two weeks.

The price of High-Speed Diesel (HSD) has risen by Rs 3.39 per litre, with the new price set at Rs 258.43 per litre.

The revised price for Light Speed Diesel is Rs 151.73 per litre, while kerosene will now cost Rs 164.98 per litre.

The notification states, “Ogra has adjusted the consumer prices of petroleum products based on changes in international oil prices.”

It further adds that the prices for the next fortnight, starting from December 1, 2024, have been slightly revised.
