Petrol price set for the next two weeks

According to the notification, petrol prices remain steady at Rs. 248.38 per litre, while high-speed diesel continues to be priced at Rs. 255.14 per litre.

Similarly, the prices of light diesel and kerosene oil remain unchanged.

Earlier, reports suggested that the federal government might increase petrol prices due to high premiums on petroleum products in the global market and rising import costs.

Sources had anticipated a hike of Rs. 2.58 per litre for petrol and Rs. 5.91 per litre for high-speed diesel.

However, the government ultimately decided against raising petroleum product prices.
