Veteran Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan shared a cryptic message amidst ongoing rumors about marital issues between his son Abhishek Bachchan and actress Aishwarya Rai.
In a recent blog post, Bachchan discussed the harmful impact of unverified information on society, alluding to the speculation surrounding his family’s personal life.
“Speculations are just that—unverified untruths,” the 82-year-old actor wrote. “It requires great courage, conviction, and sincerity to be different and believe in its existence. I rarely comment on family matters, as I value and protect their privacy.”
Addressing the rumors directly, Bachchan explained that such speculations are merely “untruths” without any verification. He noted that those who seek to validate such claims are motivated by commercial interests.
The Bollywood icon also reflected on the consequences of spreading false or unverified information. “Filling the world with untruths, or questioning untruths, means your job is done—how it affects the individuals involved is no longer your concern,” he stated, stressing the importance of conscience.
It’s worth mentioning that Aishwarya Rai had a brief relationship with actor Vivek Oberoi after her breakup with Salman Khan. She married Abhishek Bachchan in 2007, and the couple shares a 13-year-old daughter, Aaradhya.
