Bollywood icons Ajay Devgn and Aamir Khan have fueled speculation about a potential sequel to their hit comedy Ishq, following hints dropped during a recent event.

As reported by Indian media, the two stars hinted at the possibility of revisiting Ishq after 27 years when they appeared together at a film event in Mumbai over the weekend.

The Bollywood superstars attended the mahurat ceremony for the upcoming film Tera Yaar Hoon Main, which marks the debut of Aman Kumar, the son of Ishq director Indra Kumar.

“I feel very happy whenever I meet Ajay. We don’t meet often, but when we do, it’s always filled with warmth and affection. I really like the person he is,” Khan shared, with Devgn responding, “We had so much fun on the sets of Ishq.”

Devgn continued, “We should do another one,” to which Khan enthusiastically agreed, “Yes, we should,” sparking excitement among fans.

Ishq, directed by Indra Kumar, featured Ajay Devgn and Aamir Khan alongside Kajol and Juhi Chawla, with supporting roles played by Johnny Lever, Dalip Tahil, and Sadashiv Amrapurkar. The film, a masala comedy, became one of Bollywood’s biggest hits upon its release in 2007, earning INR 500 million globally and ranking as the third-highest-grossing Bollywood film of the year.
