Asim Azhar, one of the most popular music stars of this generation, has built a successful career with hit songs and performances worldwide. Currently on a tour in Canada and the USA, he spoke with Indian journalist Faridoon Shahryar about his music journey and his fiancée, actress Merub Ali.
The couple, who have been engaged for some time, has often been asked about their wedding plans. While Asim has previously been vague about the timing, he provided some clarity this time around.
When asked about their wedding, Asim shared that in traditional desi families, wedding dates are often decided by the parents, but he refrained from confirming or denying a 2025 wedding. He explained that while he wouldn’t rule it out, he isn’t giving a firm date yet. He also expressed regret for missing Merub’s birthday this year, adding that he will make up for it by sending her all his love after celebrating it during one of his shows.
