Following a series of death threats made to Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, megastar Shah Rukh Khan has now received a similar threatening call.
According to reports from Indian media, the threat was received at Shah Rukh Khan’s production company, Red Chillies Entertainment, located in Bandra, Mumbai, where an unidentified caller threatened to kill the actor.
In response, the Bandra Police filed a case against the unknown individual under sections 308 (4) and 351 (3)(4) of the BNS (Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita) and launched an investigation with the help of the Cyber Police to track down the caller.
Latest updates suggest that authorities have traced the call to a resident of Raipur, Faizan. A team from the Bandra police crime branch is now heading to Raipur, the capital of Chhattisgarh, to verify the details of the number used to threaten the ‘Jawan’ actor.
On the professional front, Shah Rukh Khan is preparing to begin filming for his upcoming project, Sujoy Ghosh’s ‘King,’ in which his daughter Suhana and actor Abhishek Bachchan will play key roles in the action-packed thriller.
