Rising star Yashmeera Jan, daughter of veteran actors Shabbir Jan and Fareeda Shabbir, has confirmed that her current project, the on-air serial Ghair, will be her last as she is stepping away from showbiz to focus on her married life.
In a recent YouTube vlog, actor-director Yasir Nawaz shared that Ghair is Yashmeera Jan’s final project, to which she affirmed, “Yes.” Nawaz further revealed, “She is married and about to begin a new chapter of her life with her husband, which is why she will no longer appear on screen, as she made a promise to him.” He also requested fans to keep her in their prayers.
In response, Yashmeera Jan explained that there are several reasons for her departure, with the primary one being her desire to focus on her studies. “I also have commitments to my new family,” she added.
Yashmeera Jan married Dr. Raamish Bin Aamir, a physician and fitness enthusiast, earlier this year in a private nikkah ceremony.
Currently, she is starring in the drama Ghair, alongside Ushna Shah, Usama Khan, and Adeel Husain. The Yasir Nawaz-directed serial, written by Zanjabeel Asim, airs on ARY Digital every Friday and Saturday.
