Pakistani TikTok star Imsha Rehman has finally addressed the controversy surrounding a video that affected her personal life last year.
Imsha, known for her social media presence, became embroiled in a scandal when videos, allegedly of her, began circulating online. In response, she deleted her social media accounts and withdrew from the public eye.
In her first public statement on the issue, Imsha clarified that the videos were fake and part of an attempt to tarnish her reputation. She shared the emotional toll it took on her, revealing that the incident led to personal hardships, including threats to her life.
Imsha explained how the videos severely impacted her life, saying, “I couldn’t go to university, I couldn’t face people, and I even received death threats.“
She also condemned the harmful practice of sharing private videos online, pointing out that people often fail to consider the long-term consequences these actions have on the individuals involved.
Rather than responding through a video, Imsha chose to take legal action. She confirmed that the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) acted swiftly, apprehended the culprits, and they are now in custody.
Before deactivating her account, Imsha had gained over 200,000 followers on TikTok.
