Indian film industry accused of spreading anti-Pakistan propaganda

India is actively engaging in a targeted propaganda campaign, using various media channels to spread misinformation and shape public opinion, aiming to damage Pakistan’s global reputation.

India’s media landscape, particularly Bollywood, has been instrumental in this strategy, often misrepresenting Pakistan by portraying it negatively and distorting facts to align with national interests.

This approach not only reinforces the Hindutva ideology but also seeks to portray Pakistan as a “dangerous entity.”

Indian media content is often filled with inaccuracies, designed to fuel animosity. By promoting false narratives, India aims to sway international opinion in its favor, shifting attention from its own internal issues by blaming Pakistan for various problems.

Despite implementing controversial policies that violate international norms, India continues to cast Pakistan as the aggressor. These media campaigns not only incite violence but also threaten regional peace.

Moreover, India’s dissemination of misinformation on a global scale reflects an irresponsible media practice, exacerbating human rights violations as Indian leadership frequently shifts focus to Pakistan to distract from its own issues.
