Yashma Gill on Marriage Proposals: Will She Quit Acting for Marriage?
Showbiz star Yashma Gill recently opened up about receiving marriage proposals from men who have asked her to leave acting, sharing her thoughts on whether she would ever agree to such a request.
In a candid interview, Yashma, who had previously shared her idea of the perfect life partner, revealed that she has yet to find a suitable match with the qualities she seeks in a future husband.
During a light-hearted conversation with fellow actor Dananeer Mobeen, Gill joked, “I keep telling a friend’s mom to find me a proposal from Islamabad, as there are no good guys left in Karachi.”
She also addressed the misconception that actors have many options when it comes to relationships, explaining, “The reality is that we are so busy with 12-hour shifts that we don’t have time for a social life. And, to be honest, we might even come across as intimidating to men.”
